This website, my first, has been my creative outlet for the past 3 years, and whilst it has been of a poor standard of late there are, hidden deep in my archives, many posts of which I am very proud. To date just short of 470,000 individuals have had a glimpse of my life, if only for a second, and I thank you for time and comments. Which have ranged from the supporting, objectionable, profound and obscene, to the somewhat absurd.

The highlight of my blogging journey was discovering that this here site had been banned in China (18months ago aprox) . Exactly why the Chinese government chose to censor me (a ban which to my knowledge has since been lifted), I will never know, perhaps my message if I even had one was lost in translation. What it did teach me, which I feel is a valuable lesson we all should know learn is that no matter how much of a progressive, accepting and connected society we think we life in, there is still much work to be done.

But this site has come to the end of its journey. What I thought before, whilst valid at the time has changed. I have changed, I’ve grown up, or at least I trying to. I no longer believe that salvation comes in a Harvey Nichols carrier bag, but I still do believe that we make our own destiny. That if we find ourselves deeply unhappy, we must make great strides to challenge that. And now I find my self in Spain, taking one step at a time, trying to carve a new path in the stone. Trying to find a place to call home. Just trying, because at the end of the day that’s all we can do.

Now I’m not leaving the sphere completely, I’ve tried before, but longed for an outlet, so I have a new blog (please ignore the crappy title), which should be operational at the weekend. I hope it will be more inspired, concise, and that it will show you that change is possible. I hope to document my life and thoughts in a more honest fashion, cutting the umbilical bushtit that has contaminated me for too long.
